The late Sir Michael John Gambon CBE was an Irish–English actor. Gambon started his acting career with Laurence Olivier as one of the original members of the Royal National Theatre. Over his six-decade-long career, he received three Olivier Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four BAFTA Awards.

Michael Gambon’s cause of death is the result of the suffering he had from pneumonia. Pneumonia is an infection of one or both of the lungs caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. It is a serious infection in which the air sacs fill with pus and other liquid. He died at the age of 82 in a hospital on September 28, 2023.
Michael John Gambon was born on October 19, 1940, in the Cabra suburb of Dublin on 19 October 1940. His mother, Mary Hoare, was a seamstress, while his father, Edward Gambon, was an engineering operative during World War II.
